About Amber Johnson

Growing up in the Canadian Rockies, Amber Johnson's earliest memories were of riding chairlifts in subarctic temperatures. Somehow, frozen nose hairs evolved into a lifelong passion for the outdoors.

After college, her first gig was reporting SkiUtah's glorious snow totals on the radio and traveling the nation promoting skiing and the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. She went on to work as a publicist for Snowbird Ski and Snowboard Resort, was the Travel Editor of Utah Sports Guide and a freelance writer for Outdoor Utah, a publication in partnership with the Utah Travel Council.

Amber then spent over a decade in Colorado where she built the state's largest social media community for moms, was a columnist for The Denver Post and contributor for NBC affiliate 9News. She was Microsoft's official blogger at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games and the editor of Park City Mountain Resort's cutting-edge Snowmamas community.

Amber recently relocated to Midway, Utah with her husband and two children and is passionate about building a community for families and women who love the outdoors. Contact Amber to find out ways to partner and remember to get outside and play!
